HYPER HOUSE

O Ghost, Arvin Dola and Irene Gaumé

26 March, 2026

O Ghost is the title of Arvin Dola’s debut album, released this year by the American label Dragon’s Eye Recordings. Through aesthetic and creative decisions rooted in speculation, this A/V show — created in collaboration with the artist Irene Gaumé — explores the formation of the discursive and emotional components that inhabit the galleries of memory as a consequence of the ontological clash between our past and present selves. O Ghost gives form to a past that emerges as a living entity.

This event is part of the program of the IN-SONORA 14 festival.

Arvin Dola is an Andalusian composer whose sound practice moves between experimental electronics, drone, and ambient music. His work has been presented in cultural centers, cinemas, and independent venues, consolidating a career defined by experimentation and formal exploration. At the end of 2025, Dola released his album O Ghost through the Californian label Dragon’s Eye Recordings and the Madrid-based platform Espacio Vacío, receiving strong recognition from the international specialized press. Alongside his personal project, Dola has also worked on film scores as well as the creation of sound environments for stage productions and advertising.

Irene Gaumé is a visual artist whose practice explores the relationship between art and technology. Her work investigates how technology reshapes contemporary perspectives and mental landscapes. As a digital sculptor, she has collaborated with artists such as Santiago Sierra, Eugenio Merino, Marina Abramović, Shezad Dawood, and Tschabalala Self, among others. In Gaumé’s work, art becomes a space for experimenting with new forms of visuality and social organization, blurring hierarchies and allowing multiple perspectives to coexist. Her landscape-based work developed with artificial intelligence was recently exhibited at the MMMAD Festival.
